TLD/SLD Limitations
.bg Registration is ONLY available to:
(1)(i) Entities that have obtained court registration or those that have been established by the authority of the Bulgarian government.
(ii) entities created by an agreement between Bulgaria and other countries.
(iii) Companies and organisations not registered in Bulgaria with branches or a commercial representatives in Bulgaria.
(2) Citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria.
(3) Bulgarian companies and organisations that have power of attorney to be recorded as the registrant/owner of a domain name on behalf of the 2 categories of entities outlined above.
The domain name must be:
(a) The full name of the proposed registrant/owner.
(b) Identical to a trade mark registered or applied for at the Bulgarian Patent Office.
(c) Identical to an abbreviation formed by one or more words of the full name, preserving the order of the full name.
(d) Identical to an abbreviation formed by one or more words of the full name, preserving the order of the full name.
(e) Identical to an abbreviation formed by the first character of the words of the full name, preserving the order of the full name.
If the full name of the proposed registrant/owner contains digits these can be written as characters.
If the full name of the proposed registrant/owner contains the name of numbers these can written as digits.
Words such as 'Ltd', 'Plc' 'Inc' and 'Co' can be omitted from the domain name and 'Bulgaria' can be omitted or replaced by 'bg'.
To complete the registration emni will require the following information:
